Double Slide Motor Has Quit

I was putting out the double slide when I heard the motor really start to slow down. Then I smelled something hot. The motor has quit. How can I check the motor and determine if it is the motor or whether it is a wiring problem. What is the warranty on the slide motor as trailer is just over 2 years old and has been parked for the past 2 years at a campground, the slide has only been put out and in about 10 times. I had some trouble with it when the trailer was new and the dealer said it was working fine. HELP !!!

Slide Out Motor

Called Gary Schellenberg at Heartland and he pointed me to Lippert. Called Lippert and they told me to get the information and call them back. Viola !! 1 1/2 weeks later I have a complete motor and assembly which was on warranty. Good customer support received from Heartland and Lippert.None
