Is it ok to drill holes in the frame?

I want to mount a Valterra 64" hose carrier to the frame.

I drilled and mounted mine using self tapping screws. We have the drop frame, and I mounted it across side to side on the main frames just ahead of the drop frame. Don't know if your model has the drop frame, but that was a good, out of the way spot for ours.

I built one out of square fence tubing. Used aluminum straps and self tapping screws. Works great.

Nicely done. I like the adaptation of the cooler latch!

I wish I hadn't ordered already. I would have done this instead.

If your Oakmont has the rear bumper, then you should be able to store the sewer hoses inside of that.

I had an old Igloo cooler so I robbed it. You can buy Igloo parts if needed. I went this way because the tube is 8' wide. I keep my folding ladder and flag pole in it.
