Driver Licensing Requirements

Interesting comments Bob.
I paid for the medical and took it to the license place and they said that it would have to go to their head office for review????? This after my doc said there were no reservations.
They said that would take about a week and when approved I could book a test....about 5-6 weeks out.
Unfortunately we were leaving in less time and so I did not book it.
I am in Texas now and they have no restrictions as long as it is a private vehicle.
I'll addres the issues when we return in the spring...maybe.

Restricted Class A

Hi,

According to MTO, as we are not commercial, we require a restricted class A designation on our Ontario license.

As of June 16th 2008 it is now law.

ORVDA is lobbing the MTO to change this rule.
