Bowl a Thon Rules:

By popular demand, I will post the bowing rules the judges will enforce during the 3 games.
Each attendee has received a copy, but others are interested in just how "Off Center" this group really is....so next posting will show the rules......

Remember, one of these rules will be drawn a minimum of three time per game. More if the Judges get nasty and of course witness a lack of love going on for their "leadership"...choke...

Camp Verde Rally::

Here are the Rules for our Bowl a Thon for Wed Oct 7 starting at 11 am. We have 5 bowling lanes and only four judges…So know they will be overworked and probably very grumpy! So bring some pocket money as the fines, drinks and fun will be filling the air. Remember….this is all in fun…it’s not about winning or the loss…well…yea the bottom team may just get a little extra attention. Also if we pick up an additional Judge, perhaps the other four won’t be as grumpy…who knows.

Four Judges are: AZ = John & Larry, CA = Mike with peanut supervising, CO = Don
These Judges are the Rule of Law and perhaps may even stretch the interpretation since they don’t have a Law Degree!
Each Judge will keep track of any deductions or additions to team scores applied by Rule encroachments.

Instructions to the Judges:
Thank you for volunteering to be the “Target” for this fun filled event. Remember, this is all in fun, but we need some harassment going on, both sides

We will have three containers: New Rules, Frame numbers, Players bowling line up numbers, ie 1-5. Three Judges will have one container each and one Judge will draw one slip from each container. Rotate the containers around and who selects. One Judge will announce the new rule to the bowlers.
You will select a minimum of Three Rules per Game or more at your discretion. Should you encounter any of the following: 1. Verbal harassment, 2. Bribe 3. Witness what you consider a lack of Love or a questionable behavior in the EYES of AN HONORABLE JUDGE at a very respectable and honorable venue; depending on the degree you may issue a fine as follows:

1. 10 point deduction from that team at the end of the game.
2. Introduce a new Rule for the next Frame and advise everyone the violators NAME.
3. Introduce the Arizona Dry Mouth Syndrome and the violator will have to purchase you a drink. You may collect at the bowling alley or back at the RV site, your choice. Remember, Mark has a fully set up and stocked bar at his Gateway!!!!!!!

Bowl A Thon Rules
These rules will be drawn by the Judges and will only pertain to the Frame and Bowler line up number drawn…

  1. Bowl a gutter either first or second ball of this frame and every other team gets 10 additional points. To be added at the end of the game by the Judges.
  2. Bowling out of team player order, Judge for that lane gets a free drink, paid by the violator. Valid for all frames and all games. Enforced by the Judge.
  3. Bowl with your opposite hand.
  4. Bowler number drawn will now move one lane to the right and bowl for that team and lane, bowler #5 will go to lane one. For this frame only
  5. Two hands rolling the ball down the lane in a granny style.
Ball is released from between your legs tossed forward, no grip or finger holes used
  6. Bowl this lane with a blind fold on, after getting your ball and lining up, other team players may guide you and talk you
through the frame. Blind fold will be on only for the release of the ball.
  7. Anyone bowling a split “two end pins” remaining will stimulate the Judges to pull a new Rule out for the next frame.
  8. Bowler line up number pulled will go to the next higher number, player 5 will to player one. This Frame only. Get it correct or buy the Judge a drink.
  9. Bowler line up number drawn for this frame will sit out bowling and get someone from the crowd “ not a player” to bowl for him/her or take a zero for that frame. So this means all four teams will have to get someone to bowl in their spot. Bowlers can bribe a Judge to bowl for them as well. Judges, did I say BRIBE? You know what that means.
  10. Bowler number drawn will now move one lane to the left, Lane 1 will go to Lane 5, only for this Frame.
Once a Rule has been drawn, it will not go back into the hopper until the next game. Then the drawing will start all over for each game.

Players Pass:
Any bowler making two strikes in a row will get one Free Pass. The player may collect, trade or give away his/her free pass at anytime during the three games. This pass will allow the Player to off set any fine levied by a Judge, one pass one fine. So example, should a Player get fined a drink for verbal harassment of a Judge, a Free pass may be used to offset buying a drink and you can tell the Judge to kiss your grits..

Okay, up date on our OCT Rally at Camp Verde....

I stopped by on the way back from the Williams Camp out...They are ready for our group and we have the entire rec room and outside patio for our Friday and Saturday evening events...Steal A Gift night.....Prize night...Grand Drawings....Raffle and 50/50 drawing...

Our pot luck, lunch and breakfast will still be held at site 99, remember to bring a chair for these functions.

ATV owners...remember you can bring your atv and ride right off the property onto hundreds of miles of trails....You can catch a trail from the RV Resort all the way to Prescott if you want...

Casino buffet....remember they have a fabulous buffet every day...we will get a group together and test out our consumption!!!!!!

Bowl a Thon....our two ringers "professional bowlers" had to cancel so this will make Judge Juicy's attitude a little uncertain, as she was planning the wrath of Juicy on them....bowlers beware...

I am so excited our Oct Rally is finally getting close! We have been planning, messaging, posting and leading off with a lot of fun in mind.....Let's get ready to do this thing!

[John: We would never allow punch for our newest Members! Fireball, wine, scotch or a very cold beer is different. Those drinks are on every good Rally Attendees diet!]

Speaking of alcohol.. And reviewing the rules, seems to me our judges will be sloshed for quite a while after all those fines are dished out.!!!!

Terry:

Thankful for the bus taking us back to the RV's......Wonder how Judge Juicy can hold her alcohol? Perhaps after a couple of drinks, they will forget why they are there!

I think I'm on to something here... Early violations could lead to more flexible judges.... Strategy at work...

Terry:

I have a super printer in Phoenix....he can make me up some "Heartland Dollars" Do you think the Judges would notice if we just gave them money to buy their own???
If I could get a picture, I would print the judges face on them....what a hoot....

Terry: You are back in site 103...not sure why the resort started moving things around after the sites were assigned, I guess they thought they were doing us a favor..
Mark will go back to site 95 unless it is an RV length problem. Sorry for the confusion....
