From what I have been told is that Jackson Rancheria has a sensitive sewer system. No one has ever complained about having to go thur their dump stations. They're pretty organized and quick and they do all the work for you. You just have to put the chemical in your toilet. Overall, this is an immaculate RV Resort with a very friendly staff! You can also get some hot coffee, hot chocolate & popcorn while you wait... for FREE!

Just had a chance to look at our calendar and wanted you to know that we would like to arrive 9/20 and depart 9/24/12. Hope you had a safe trip home, we looked at the weather and decided to go through Nevada. When we left Salt Lake City it was 66 and only got up to 78 in Nevada, we made it to Reno the same day (about 2:00 PM) and stayed there for 2 days. I drove the 5th wheel for about 50 miles, now I can say I drove!!! Still have a lot to learn, especially turning and backing, still a novice. See you at 7 Feathers.

Hi Liz & Larry,
I've put you down the the dates you requested. When we left the Grand Tetons, we decided to drive thru Idaho, stayed one night, then drove to Elko for a night then onto Reno for 3 nights, then home. Luckily you got the nicer weather. It wasn't too bad for us, low 90's. Wow, you did good for driving those 50 miles! I'll have to get behind that wheel some day and try pulling the 5er too! LOL

UPDATE for Jackson Rally:

Our rally is just a week away and we're looking forward to seeing all of you there! Go to post # 1 on this thread for the final Agenda for the rally.

After you are checked in and set up on Friday, please come to our site # 43 to pick up your Welcome packets. Bring your lawn chairs to the Meet & Greet so you can visit and meet some of the new members. We'll be going to the Rancheria Buffet at the Hotel/Casino, so if you'd like to join the group, please let us know. Please note that they no longer call it a "seafood buffet". It's a buffet with a mixture of foods including some seafoods. Each pays their own way.

At check-in, I will have a sign-up sheet for the Potlucks. We need to know what dish each rig is bringing to share, so we don't have multiple dishes of one kind. We will be BBQing Tri-tip roast and Chicken, compliments of Manteca RV.

We're asking each rig to please a gift worth at least $15.00 for our Prize raffle and drop it by no later than noontime on Saturday. We appreciate the gift donations which helps us to fund the cost of our rallies. Tickets for the raffle will go on sale at the Dinner Potluck. 10 tickets/$10.00

Looks like the temps will be in the high 80's-low 90's and will cool off nicely in the evenings. Saturday, we have a full Agenda and a more relaxing day on Sunday! We've planned a fun weekend for everyone!

Heartlanders:
I wanted to put up a post of my great appreciation of a very relaxing rally put on by Teresa and Art. Theresa is especially deserving of praise as she did this while in considerable pain from ankle and back problems. John and Lori were of great help putting this on, too. The weather was just warm enough, and I did my bit to support the local Indian Tribe in their casino, while staying in one of the top RV parks in the country.
This is probably the last Heartland Rally of the year for me, I look forward to seeing the gang next spring in Oroville.
