PJ,
raffle is like any other one, just buy some tickets and we will draw for prizes. We will give everyone two tickets on Friday, then you will have the chance to buy more.
We will have the prizes displayed on a table, so unwrapped is best. I will have some ribbon, etc to dress up any that need a little decoration.

Seven Feathers is an awesome park. We stay there as a stopover to the coast. Looking forward to meeting everyone. You have a lot of company as first time attendees. We are always open to new ideas, so please, if you see something that could be better, or have a new idea, please share them with us.

Thank you for putting on the rally. We had a great time, learned a lot and met some wonderful people. Looks like about half of the group that attended will also be at the Oregon rally in June. We look forward to seeing you all again and meeting more wonderful people in June.

Thanks for making the rally a fun event. I just provide the location, and the people provide the fun. We will definately see you in Winchester.
Again, a big thanks to all who attended and all my helpers.

Sorry, I"m of no use here. All I do is go visit Mark and Kristy when they're staying there. We have some local friends that stay there when they want to run away for a weekend, I'll ask them when we cook tomorrow.

Hi PJ, we have stayed at JGW a couple of times and really like R1 or any of the river sites and R1 is a pull thru, they are also a little cooler in the evenings when it is hot.

Deb and Ray,
You guys put on an exceptional good rally and Debbi and I want to thank you for providing all the essentials for a great time had by all. The campground was small but cozy, with grass between each site, the KOA staff were very nice, food was great, rally goers were all friendly and helpful, my buddy Butch (GMC) installed a really kool, professional looking cover for the bottom of the screen door so our beagles, Stella and Lucy, couldn't scratch thru the mesh, and the casino was within walking distance. It was a sweet touch that Ralph, the HL Sacramento RV dealer, not only provided an outstanding dinner of chicken and beef, but also had Juan the technician fix anything he could handle, on the spot. I really enjoyed seeing all our HL friends again, and meeting some new ones.

Everyone who reads this please come to the HL rallies, they are AWESOME! Don't forget to put Oct 15th weekend on your calendar for the 2010 2nd Annual So Cal Fall Heartland Rally in Buellton, CA. Last year 27 rigs, 3 HL latest model HL show rigs, and lots of neat things to do near Santa Barbara, CA. If you haven't met JimBo, this could be your chance.

Thanks Larry, and it was great to see you and Debbi. I believe it's the people who make the rallies, and our Heartlander's are some great people. I thank my old friends and new friends for making this a great Rally. And thanks to you and Stacey for making our raffle so much fun. :)
To those of you that had to cancel, best wishes for a speedy recovery and hope to see you at one of the next rallies.

As Larry said, it's a small park, so a decision will have to be made soon as to hold it there again or not.
If those that attended, or would have attended, would drop me a note and let me know if the location works for you or not, it would help with our plans for next year.
Looking forward to seeing some of you again in Winchester, and the rest I hope to catch up to at another HL rally. Travel Safe!

Hi Deb,
I think we should have next years rally in the exact same campground in Oroville, as Debbi and I enjoyed ourselves immensely. The KOA office told me if we make reservations a little earlier with at least 10 rigs, they will give us a discount. The truth is the rally goers make the difference, and this years bunch were the greatest. See you all in Winchester Bay in June.

Hello Heartland family, Mike and I just wanted to say thank you for welcoming us into your rally. We had a wonderful time. Martha the horse shoe champ has almost decided to purchase her own heartland rig. Mike and I had never attended a rally and we were somewhat skeptical, but all our worries were quickly resolved when we met all you wonderful people. Our hauling fears went away after we met Larry. Yes Larry you are correct, that is why we pay insurance... Also a great big thanks to Heartland rep for the BBQ. I feel like we have made some longtime friends. Hope to see you guys again .
Thanks again for teaching the newbes

Mike and Connie (and Martha too) was wonderful meeting you guys and I hope you can join us again at another rally. I was particularly pleased that Martha beat the guys. (no offense intended, guys)
If Martha gets serious about a Heartland, tell her I'd be glad to run down for the day and help her shop. :)
Note to Jim B about horseshoes: be afraid of Martha. Every time she throws there's the ringing sound of metal to metal contact... LOL
Take care in your travels!

Hi Ross and Linda,
We have lots of room in Buellton at Flying Flags RV Resort one block from Solvang in the middle of October. Come and join us. Just go the portal page and scroll down to the bottom right and click the link on any rally you wish to join.

Ross and Linda,
We'll certainly add you to our notification list. The Rally is usually around Easter vacation, generally the last week or two of March. At this time, we'll probably hold it at Oroville again as the casino and the KOA go out of their way for us.
We're currently in OR, enjoying the Winchester rally.
