We've got a REAL rally going now!!! 15 rigs! A big Thank You to all who have registered and all who have volunteered to help. We're going to have a great time! In case I haven't posted it before, we'll be in site 43, which is the corner site in the last row in the park. It's also one with a big patio so we can have a campfire, weather permitting.

Deb, sounds like friday nite appetizers and mixer at 4PM and an awesome potluck at 5PM on Saturday nite. Does the casino have a great friday nite buffet or does anyone have suggestions. I just mite have to get out the weber bbq for friday nite lol.

Sounds like with 15 rigs we gonna party! Whoopee!

Larry, the casino does have a good seafood buffet on Friday Nights. (and you get coupons too) They also do cook to order NY steaks that aren't half-bad. We actually got 14 of us seated for dinner together last year, thanks to Teresa's wrangling, but I doubt they could seat 30 of us at the same time.
Our site has a huge built in BBQ, so we could pursue that idea as well?
I'm pretty excited we have this many attending. Pretty good growth of the owners group. From 4 rigs to 8 to 15 in three years.

Kool Deb, now don't get stressed, just delegate and have some fun. I talked to Roger at the KOA, and since I am in a larger site (#25), he just said he put on my reservation to to give me $40 casino money when I check in. Very nice.

He also mentioned a few wineries that we should check out during wine tasting. He said he had some "ins" so you should call him to discuss. Just trying to help.

Thanks Larry, and I DO appreciate the help. Although probably still somewhat of a control freak, I'm growing out of it :) I'm actually pretty good at delegating now, and everything does not have to be perfect anymore. After all I was the only one that ever noticed anyway. LOL Fun and Fellowship are the most important elements.

I'll give KOA a call today, I have to fax Stephanie an updated list of attendees anyway. I've talked to the wineries, but I think it would be really neat if we could get them to come to us? Just an idea (actually Ray's) and maybe Roger could help? There are a couple in Chico (nearby) as well as the two in Oroville.

What do you need for the raffle? We have tickets, container. I'll pick up ribbon and some gift bags. We have a few extra hands to help as well. And a BIG thank you again for doing this!

Waiting for confirmation on the 16th Rig !!!
Things are coming together for a great weekend. More complete details to come by the end of next week. Start thinking about your potluck goodies so we can get a count of what we will have. I'm not worried about quantity as all the rallies seem to be a three day eat-a-thon. :)
Keep your fingers crossed for good weather again this year!

Hi Deb,
We would like to bring Troy and Carol Ratliff along to the rally as SOB's. Told them to call the park for reservations. Will keep you in touch.

yeah Larry! I got your message this afternoon, I'll call you tomorrow. Had Mom at the Dr. until late today, on my way to Reno tomorrow, riding, not driving, so will call and check in with you and catch up. Are you feeling any better yet?

Thanks Deb, I subscribe to the theory, of don't ask, don't tell. I just try to roll with the punches. Back problems are a pain in the u know what. Trying to deal with them can be real expensive, when you start looking at air ride seats, air hitches, and all that stuff. I am trying a new method by having my truck suspension looked at by experts, to see if they can soften the ride, without reducing the safety factor before spending all that money. I now appreciate campers who travel with severe back pain. It sucks, but I am not complaining just trying to solve the problem.

Last Call for Registration!! 17 Rigs registered!!!!
I am finalizing the attendee list so I can send it to Dale for badges. Since I am not doing the badges on site, I won't be able to add last minute registrations with the same kind of badges.
If you have registered and I don't have you on the first post event listing, please post to this site or PM me with your information. Also If you haven't sent me your "real" name, please do so, if you'd like it on your name badge. :) Otherwise, you're going to get a first name and a screen name. :) Also... If you are a club member and your number is not displayed on your profile, can you get it to me?
Things are coming together nicely and I'll mail updated details by the end of next week.
Looking forward to seeing everyone!

New updates

Updates****
RVs of Sacramento and Mike Moreland of Heartland will be attending the Rally. Roundtable discussion with owners on Saturday and a new Landmark will be displayed. They will also help to defray the cost of dinner, so I will post changes next week, after I hear back from caterer. THANK YOU Mike and RV's of Sac!!!
I will have a firm schedule posted by next Friday as well as email to all of you that are registered.
Sure hope they don't bring the Rushmore... Might have to make sure the BH registration stays at home...

That's great Deb! I tried to get Mike for last years rally, but he couldn't make it. It well be nice to meet the man who helped us come to an agreement with our dealer.

Kristy, if Mike's the one who can make agreements happen, perhaps I really will leave the BH registration at home!! LOL
Also working on the 303 guys. We'll see what happens with that next week. I know I'll have some goody bags and a prize or two from them, but might get them to run down and do some demos as well. This is coming together pretty well now. I'll also work on some 303 stuff for Oregon as well. I DO owe you.. LOL

Kristy & Deb, Although we have never met Mike either, we sure were glad he got involved with our purchase. We've never been so disgusted at sales people as we were with buying our 3670. We were one step away from looking at other brands, at different dealers, trying to find a dealership that would be realistic.

So glad you're able to make it. It just wouldn't have been the same without you. :)
On another positive note, 303 products is supplying us with some goody bag items and I was able to score some for Kristy too!
