Alrighty, I will be up for the pot-luck. Seems while we were travelling I was volunteered for something at the church on 10/31. I might bring up some more of that rhubarb pie, that is- if anyone is interested?

Let me know more about this craft thing-- that sounds interesting. I don't want to hang too long up there though- the kids will get restless. I'm pretty sure they used up all their "good" last year! I am looking forward to it!

Mary,
Glad you will make it. I know a few people who love rhubarb pie.
In fact I've never seen any dessert last too long. Trace

Mary, yes on the rhubarb pie. Bring the kids and stay awhile. We all have "duct tape" to keep them in line. LOL As far as the crafts fair, Pat and several other ladies are bringing things they make to share and sell.

I don't want to read through the whole thread to find the details so I'll just ask... Is there a potluck and if so, what's needed?

Jim.....Read this

We have reserved the pavillion for Friday and Saturday nights as the club house was not available. It has tables and a BBQ for us to use. We might have to bring extra chairs depending on how many people we have. The meet n greet will be held in the pavillion Friday night about 6pm-ish. If you want to bring some snacks thats fine. I know Pat will have somethings also. BYOB if you want to. I know the ladies will need some wine. The potluck will be on Saturday night at 5 pm. The club will provide the main course...thinking about BBQ ribs and chicken. I'm sure Pat will do other things also. If everybody brings a side dish, or salad, or dessert...that would great. A word of caution, please do not make enough food for 40 people. Enough food for 10 people is plenty. If you would...could you post what you are bringing. We do not need #100 of potato salad. The club will provide plates, silverware (plastic), drinking cups, water, soda's, napkins etc, etc. After the potluck we will have the raffle and maybe a 50/50 drawing. If you could, bring a raffle prize valued about $15 and it does not need to be RV related. Hint...hint...the ladies love winning bottles of wine. After all we are in Temecula "wino country". I need to clarify some things on the staying extra days. You can come early....but if it's before Wednesday the 29th. You will have to call the CG and pay for those days yourself at the regular CG ratesIf you want to stay an extra day...Sunday night, leaving on Monday November 3rd...you can and it will be at the club/rally rate but that you will pay me not the CG. After that you will need call the CG and pay for those days at the regular CG rates.

Jim - I see that BigJim has excerpted from Bob's info, the info you seek.

This Jim just wants to let you know that the way we ask our Chapter Leaders to setup the information for their rally, that all important info is always contained in post #1. So as you or anyone reading this, contemplates the next rally they wish to attend, while rally threads can get VERY long (and all that discussion is great and fun) - one only needs to jump to post#1 to get the important rally details.

Have fun in Temecula. Wish we could be there. I've made a couple of rallies there in the past. Bob, Pat and their able assistants will do a great job for rally attendees.

Jim, yes there will be a "sweet and greet" on friday nite. Pat is bringing lots of pies and plans on making coffee and we will have water and sodas available. Saturday around 5-6 PM will be the potluck and raffle. We are asking everyone to bring a raffle prize costing $10-$15. It does not have to RV related. Bottles of wine work for the ladies. Both will be in the club house. The club will provide the main course and we need everyone to bring a side dish to feed no more than 10 people. A salad, bean dish etc, etc or maybe a dessert.

Big Jim, someone cancelled on the club house....so now we have it for 4 days.
