Larry, I wish I had your money and you had more! :rolleyes: Then I could do as you suggest! :cool: Don't know if that'd please Bonnie. Then he'd have to build another one. :p Why aren't you folks coming to this rally? :confused: My bad! Just went back to check attendee list......So, Sam's coming without you? :angel:

Steve and Patti;
Yes we will have room for extra folks at the table. And yes we would love to have them and maybe we can convert them into RV'ers. The cost per head is just under $10, so for 2 that would be $20. I'm the guy to pay because I get to write the check for dinner. I wish I could say no charge but the caterer and BBQ expert is charging by the head. The club members cost is offset by Heartland. If they have an RV and it happens to be a Heartland, they could join.:)

Boys and Girls;
I have been so busy in the last few months that I haven't been able to focus all of my attention on Chapter business. There is one thing I would like to bring to everyone's attention. The Southeast Regional Rally is going to be held in Waynesville, NC in April 12-14 I think, and I would like to encourage everyone to attend. This is a beautiful part of the country. Bonnie and I went to collage just west of there, and know the area well. We can't go due to our fultimming workamping jobs, but would be there if it weren't for that. If you have never been to a regional event, it is a blast. There will be folks from all over the south and and north there, and you will meet people there that you won't bump into often. Please let me encourage everyone to take advantage of this opportunity. There is also the area attractions. Maggie Valley, Ghost town, Smoky mountain Railway, just a lot of cool things to do. There is one drawback....ramps. No not the kind you drive on, it's the kind you eat. This is about the time of Spring Ramp Festival. This little plant is a cousin of the onion and garlic family. It has a great taste but no one who hasn't eaten one will not stand close to you. In fact the kids used to get expelled from school for 3 days after the festival for eating them. Just a heads up.

Hey Mickey,

I was hoping that you could make it to the Regional Rally, but I understand why you cannot, we will miss you. By the way our HOC# is 1006. Thank you for the Waynesville plug.

hello, I was informed the other day about a schedule change at work and will not be able to attend the rally. Next year we will schedule this time off much earlier and will not miss the next one.

What to Do at Williston Crossing....besides talk, eat and drink?

Hey....do I have to do something else? What is there to do?

In case you missed it back on page 6 of this long-winded thread I posted some of our favorite things to do nearby Williston Crossing. We've been travelling this area for going on 40 years since Karen and I met in college in Gainesville. Here's the link:

//heartlandowners.org/showthread.ph...3-to-3-24-2013?p=271103&viewfull=1#post271103

Now all you need to is find the time to see everything.

See you all soon.

Randy over at Silver River State Park in Ocala next to Silver Springs is a village of old Florida Cracker houses and other things. It is a neat place to go to .

Thanks for all the great ideas! Harry and I are heading for Williston Crossings tomorrow. We will be there for the month of March and are looking forward to seeing all the sights. Right now the top of our list includes the parks and a trip to Cedar Key. :)

I will be bringing a broccoli/cheese casserole for the potluck.
Archie and I are renovating a 1988 Airstream "Squarestream" to leave on our property in TN. If anyone has a set of Euroloungers they want to sell, please PM me. We are trying to make the most of the 32 ft, no slide space, and I think they would work well!

We have arrived in Williston. :) All settled in to Site 443. It was a tight one, but we maneuvered our way in with the help of the campground staff.

Hi, Mickey:
We are coming into Williston Crossing on (site #507) Friday, March 15 to Wednesday, the 20th (for the Gainesville National Drag Races). On the 20th we have to move to the new area (site #221) until the 24th. Looking forward to meeting all the other Heartland owners (we are actually on our way back home to NY). We are bringing devilled eggs (Easter thing)!! Sorry we forgot to post a message here & didn't see our name on page 1 list. Our HOC # is 1633. Got another question for you--I think it would be nice to have a list of all attendees and their site # added. That way we can find someone we are looking for. Just a thought!! Thanks for including us in your rally!

Mickey, Karen will bring a salad made with fresh greens from her garden. Also just a reminder that we won't be able to join the group Saturday evening due to a wedding but will be back on Sunday.

Thanks Randy and Karen, Barb and Archie, and Karen and Don for entries. Also great ideas on sites, I was going to get that done before event. I will have a rally bag for everyone when they check in, except those really early birds. I'll get yours to you early.

Guys and Girls;

Bonnie and I are having a HUGE garage sale this weekend, starting Friday. If you ever needed anything for your house, garage, farm, RV, Doghouse, Inlaws quarters come by to see us. Seriously we are having the big one for next two weekends, should have house cleaned out and ready to hit the road soon. Sort of stressful seeing all your stuff in a hanger and people going over it, but I look at it as chains holding me back from doing what we have dreamed about for several years. If your in the area and just want to say hi, want to hold Bonnie's hand for support, or want to see how we have made the great move to fulltiming, or just want to laugh with us at life in general, come by to see us. Call me and I'll give personal directions.
