Well John, maybe next year you can return home to Michigan. We would love to have you back.

could those who are planning on going to the island please let me know. I am trying to arrange our own shuttle to catch the 9:00 am ferry. Also let me know if you are doing the carriage ride. Either PM or on here would be fine. Thanks and see everyone soon.

If going to Mackinac Island, be careful what you step on. It won't be fudge. :(

Nancy wants to go at a later time, so we're passing on the 9am group leave. Thanks for coordinating.

I threw it out there for a time for all those heading to the island so I could book a dedicated shuttle and carriage tour. Unfortunately we aren't able to do that since they need a commitment of at least 20 people to be able to do this. No problem, those going can leave when they want since the shuttle runs to the campground all the time anyways just as the carriage tour runs all day. For those not going I will have your welcome bag with destinations nearby. The Locks (1 hour) and casino (across the bridge in St Ignace ) come to mind.
WE are heading up tomorrow and I will post the agenda here as well as have a copy in your welcome bag after we arrive, but plan on breakfast on Saturday morning and potluck with bbq pork loin chops for dinner.
Looking forward to seeing everyone

Gerry please count us in for the Lumber Jack show if it's not too late! We are arriving on Wednesday, stopping by Interlochen in Traverse City for a performance on Tuesday evening. For those who travel with bikes, you can take your bikes on the Island Ferry for $8, which is cheaper than renting one, plus you have your own bike. There is a paved path all around the Island right by the shoreline, about 8 miles. There was only one hill I chose to walk the bike up when we were there in July and I am a woose when it comes to hills. It is a spectacular ride for those that like to escape the craziness of town. Sounds like a fun Rally. Dennis and Jackie Bailey

Debbie and I are her on site 829. Looking forward to seeing everyone. Ended up next to a nice couple in a Big Country who had never heard of the HOC. I think we will have a new member. His comment was: why wouldn't I join

I think there is a BC and a LM in my row. No idea of they're registered but I'll try to hit them up if I see them.

Looking forward to another great Michigan rally.

This is so upsetting. We are still here at Country Roads RV Park work camping, and Terry & Jackie Spencer, along with Kim & Dottie Miranda are leaving in the morning heading for the rally. Something is wrong with this picture!!! We should be going also! Oh well, I guess there is next year...we really need to win the lottery, but I've heard a rumor that you've got to buy some kind of ticket?

Maybe next year will work after you buy that ticket, of course I want one too

Many Thanks to Gerry and Debbie for another "GREAT RALLY". The weather was great, lots to do, The Kennedy's Popcorn- along with campfires, laughs, fellowship and great food. That is what makes The Heartland Family so special.

Kudos to Gerry and Debbie for another great MI rally. Thanks too to all those who helped and all those who came to the rally. Mackinaw City was a fun place to base the rally out of as there was so much to see and do in the area and not far beyond.
