That sounds great Hariet. Between you two and Nathan and Byrd we should have plenty of help. The work is really in prepping the ingredients. Everyone gets to cook their own omelette.

Phil and Becky had these at one of their rallies. That was a first for me. I had never tasted an omelette that good before so hopefully we can reproduce it.

Yeah, I am going to try to figure some extra time on this one! Pay attention John! NJ to NC for a weekend? We are going to spend more time in the truck than at the Rally. C'mon Monty Hall, Let's make a deal! Please, Please, Pretty Please?

Thank you for everyone's help. I will be in touch with everyone through PM or email.
Hallie, a baggie omelette is just that... an omelette cooked in a baggie. Phil and Becky had them last year. You cant believe the incredible flavors when you dont fry an egg.

Terry, is your basement TV up and running now?

John, thanks for your offer. Are you going to be coming from Danville/ It is not that far away.

*OK Here is the obligatory post for T-Shirts.*

*The shirts are $10.00. Dave Yocum has designed the logo and will be handling all T-shirt sales. You can PM him, his forum name for those who are new here is "davebennington"*

*He is keeping close wraps on the design but I do know it has something to do Autumn.*

*Don't forget to tell him the sizes and a check can be sent to him directly. The cut off date is Sept 9th. *
*I know some of you are starting to have a closet full of rally shirts but do you have a "Yocum original"? Could be worth some money someday.*

It is time to place your order for the official NC-SC fall rally t-shirt and it is going to be a good one, trust me you will be the envy of everyone with this shirt.

So here are the requirements:

1. I need your shirt size.

2. If you want a mans shirt or one with bumps (womans ).

3. I will need $10.00 per shirt.

4. last but most of all and the most important I will need all of the above to me by September 1st 2010.

So if you would like a shirt send payment to me at:

881 Buckhead Drive
Bracey, VA 23919

Thanks

Dave

hi john & deb,
you are driving south from where? but not on I-81 south?
if you are on I-81 south - remember we are just minutes from exit 141 and
we have plenty of space for rv parking.
danville is far at all from mt. airy - it's the rest of the drive that take a
long time.

Re: EVENT: Heartland Chapter Rally: NC, Mt. Airy - 10/1/2010 to 10/3/2010

Here is a map of Mayberry campground.
Right now there are 35 sites reserved for the rally. The sites are:
17-31,32-36,37-43,56-63.

Several of us were there a few days ago looking at the sites. The campground will not assign sites however they have allowed to do so.
There are a few sites that are small including 36, 37 and 43. You can get the trailer on them but might have to park the TV accross the road.
At this point no one is assigned on them. If you have been here before and know what site you would like we can change it providing no one else is on it.
We tried to fit the rig to the site so everyone would get as much space as possible.

Just for fun ( and because it is hot outside) we put the current attendees on excel along with their trailer model and miles one way.
Sure looks like we are helping out the gas stations that weekend.

I waited for Gus to do this but....some things you just have to do yourself.

Interesting bit of information. This is one time when our trip will be just
a short drive from home.
Noticed that you have our Sundance listed as 29' - actually it is 34'.
Always wondered why Heartland (and most other RV companies) find it
impossible to provide the actual "end-to-end" length of their rv's. When
we were shopping for ours we always took a tape measure to know the
actual length. Hope this does not make a difference for our selected
site?
