Will rehook up the Landmark and try to head that way again when the right side rear outer tire looses the bolt and decides to hold air again.

Hoping to see everyone today but at this point I don't know.

After 5 hour delay getting out of Va Beach, we are now set up at Oak Plantation and are ready for a rallying weekend. Have had dinner so now it is time to sleep, look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow.

Sitting here at home in the pouring rain waiting for Nathan's plane to arrive so we can leave. Haven't hooked up yet waiting for a small break in the weather.
Jim lunch at Justine's tomorrow?

We arrived here Wednesday afternoon. We hit Gilligan's that night for shrimp. Pretty good - not super awesome.

We went sightseeing with Kevin and Nelly on Thursday, seeing Firefly Distillery and Winery. Then lunch at JB Smokehouse. Then we went to see the Angel Oak Tree - that was pretty cool and free! Had a nice campfire that night at our site with a bunch of people dropping by.

Friday turned cool and windy. Stayed around the campground all day. Went to the meet and greet and had a nice time, followed by the campfire there with the die hards. All 6 of us :)

Phil and Becky had a gazillion dozen doughnuts for everyone this morning (Sat). And nearly the entire rally is about to caravan into Charleston for 2 guided tours. Should be a great day followed by a Low Country Boil tonight.

Phil & Becky,

Great rally, it was awesome with the tour and site seeing. It is good seeing old friends and meeting all the new people.

Becky and I would like to thank everyone who helped with the Charleston, SC Rally and everyone who attended the rally. It turned out better than we could have ever imagined. Special call outs to Archie and Barb Prince, Don Little and his wife as well as Nathan & Byrd Mathis and Phil Lau for their help with the Low Country Boil that we all enjoyed. Also to Larry Bandstra, Judy Hyatt and Lance Duguay for our Church service. There are also many, many more that lent a hand anywhere one was need and we really appreciate it. Thank you to the Tally's for sharing their 40th wedding anniversary with us and a Happy Birthday to Tom Combs. Also a special thanks to Phil Lao for his generous door prizes. Last but certainly not least, to Heartland for their support of our activities.

I think we found we had eleven states represented and 35 rigs in attendance. Again, Thank you to everyone in attendance!

Please welcome Larry Bandstra as he takes over as the SC Chapter leader responsibilities for 2012 and we'll see you next year at a Heartland Rally!

Phil & Becky, Santha and I would like to thank you for a good time. 35 rigs for a state rally has to be a Heartland record. The pressure is now on Larry and Samantha to do better. Randy, Santha and the Poodles

Thanks to Phil & Becky for their time and effort they put into the Charleston, SC., Heartland Rally. Also for me, most importantly, finally getting to put faces with user names.

Hope everyone has a safe journey home or to their next destination!!!!!

Thanks Phil and Becky for a wonderful rally. It was great seeing everyone.

We made it back to Chapin after getting the RV set back up in it's home in Hilton Head. Hopefully some of you will stop by to visit us there before the spring rally.

Safe travels to everyone!

This was our first rally, and we had a great time. The people were friendly, the food was great, and the campground was good. Joann and I are looking forward to the next rally that we can attend. Thank you Phil & Becky for a great time. If the weather had just been about 10 degrees warmer, it would have been perfect.

We also appreciated the men that looked at our water leak issue and offered their opinions as what to do.

Thanks,
Joann & Dan Stubbins

Thanks Phil & Becky and everyone else involved in making our first S.C. Rally a great experience. It was also our first Low Country Boil. Wow! It was good to be able to put a face with a forum name. We hope those that left today made it to their destination safe & Sound. Don't forget, those wanting some great Biscuits & Sausage Gravy, tomorrow at the pavilion. We'll try to have it ready by no later than 8:30. Bring your own set ups. Sorry, no beverage available either. Rumor has it Jim Beletti will be doing some scrambled eggs as well. Hope to see you there.
