That is great news Dean & Jodi, I really hope that your daughter and her family can make it.

Rod Ditrich

Hey there, I just wanted to let you know I will try to get our reservations to include the 25th. Also, our oldest daughter is hoping she and her family can come also, as SOB's. I will pay there $20 if they can get in. Thanks, j

UPDATE TO THE WASHINGTON STATE CHAPTER RALLY: We have 7 sites remaining at the park that are currently not filled. The park has multiple requests from people outside of Heartland Owners Club that would like these spots. If you are interested in coming to the Washington State Chapter Rally and have not yet made your reservations, please call and reserve your spot ASAP as the park is going to release our remaining unreserved spots on close of business on June 7th. Also, anyone that does make a reservation, please either PM me or email me to let me know so I can keep track of who is coming, which site they are in and what dates they are attending.

Good news and bad news.

We will not be able to attend this rally due to more pressing comitments that have come up. But the good news is that site 33 will now be vacant should someone else wish to attend in our place. I will be calling the campground and advise them of same. We have paid our deposit, and perhaps the site could be used as additional parking, or some other use should someone else wish to take over it for us.

Kris,

I am sorry to hear that you won't be able to make it. We were really looking forward to meeting you and your family. Maybe next year?

Unfortunately I have had a total of 7 cancellations within the past 3 weeks, so if you are interested in attending and could not get reservations before because they were all sold out, contact the park ASAP and grab one of the recently cancelled sites. If you do, please send me a message and let me know which site you are in and what dates you will be there. I have updated the attendance roster (1st post) to include the changes. If I have missed someone, please let me know ASAP via email or PM.

Don't forget to bring a raffle item to donate to the Raffle at the pot luck dinner. Raffle tickets will be on sale and all proceeds go back into the Washington Chapter Fund so in the future we will have money to put into the Rally to help with costs associated with the rally. In addition to the raffle item, please bring a meal item for the pot luck on Saturday Evening and a snack or hors d'oeuvres for the meet and greet social on Friday evening.

Hope to see you all there and if you have any friends that would like to attend that are not Heartland Owners, they are welcome to attend the rally for a non member cost of $20.00.

It sucks,..We were really looking forward to it, but work is severly putting a damper on things as of late.
Sorry about your work situation. I was looking forward to fishing with you. Maybe another time when you are near Portland, OR or we are up your way.

Anyone with a Pop Up Tent or Shade Tent that could bring them for the pot luck and the meet and greet it would be much appreciated. This way if it is 100 degrees outside we have the ability for folks to get out of the weather.

Hi Rod,

We are planning to be at this Rally...we were on your second roster, but we didn't show up on your last roster (post #47). We WERE going to be in site 43, but we have changed sites to 33 (Phat Kids site). Sorry to hear that several folks have cancelled. We are looking forward to meeting new friends and seeing all the different rigs.

Hi Rod,
We have a 10' x 10' canopy-tent for a show booth that we will toss in the back of the truck. It ain't huge, but it will provide some help. Looking forward to this!

Rod, we also have a 10x10 pop-up we will bring. Hope we need it for shade and not the wet stuff!

Thanks Tom and Doug, those would be great! We are really looking forward to it! In Washington you never know about the weather, however in Wenatchee Leavenworth in July we should probably be safe in only needing it for the sun (Fingers Crossed).

UPDATE: Kelly and I have purchased a couple of prizes to give away at the Raffle. One is for the best or nicest decorated campsite, so bring all of your decorations to "bling up" your campsite. The winner will be picked by a ballot vote from everyone present. The other is for the furthest traveled to be at the Rally. We are rally looking forward to this rally and hope that it is a great time. This is our first Rally as Chapter Leaders and until the Oregon Rally last month, we had not attended a Rally at all, so we hope that this rally is going to be a good one.

It may be a 'dry' heat but hot is hot! See you Thursday. Just got back from a trip to Iowa so used to heat and humidity although both were a bit less than usual. Glad the AC works well.
