Thanks everyone. I am currently at the Rt66 RV Resort just off of I40 (behind Casino). I will try the tape over the striker plate to see how that goes. On my Oakmont, the compromised lock is thr bottom of the two.

That is where we had the Rally...

The Camping World and Le Mesa RV is at the next exit east of there over the hill.

Look for the giant American Flag...

You should be able to get a lock at one of those two places.

Thanks, will head there once they open at 10am. I bought the rv at La Mesa in Tucson. Hopefully they'll have the part.

Hi again all. Went to La Mesa RV, everything is closed, except new rv sales. No parts access. Went down the road to Camping World, bought their generic entry door lock. Works except deadbolt. Wont clear door side striker plate. Either i have to move locking mechanism up (3/8 inch) or cut out more of the plate.

Bottom line, house locks. Thanks for all the assistance, it is truly appreciated.

We are not able to attend after all. Dennis had a 4 wheeler accident. He did not break anything but needs to stay off his leg. We are disappointed.

Thank you thank you to the Rally team. I did not get everyone’s name that helped us. First we couldn’t get the sewer open, then discovered a bolt had broken on the controls for the jack legs. Wow these three guys went to town and got everything fixed for us. YEH. One was Ernie and I forgot the other two names. Don’t know what we would have done without you.

When I arrived Monday my check engine light was burning in my F350, took it to the local Ford dealer that afternoon and they told me they could "look at it" on Wednesday, and then it changed, and it would be this coming Monday (a week later) before they could even scan the code. Since I am leaving Monday, that was unacceptable so I took it to Big Jim's Diesel and Automotive at 201 Santa Fe Drive (about 2 miles from the Fair Grounds).

Mr. Hart, the owner immediately got his scanner, saw what the problem was, said he could get a sensor and fix it. We agreed for me to take it in Tuesday morning, I was there at 9AM and the truck was repaired and I was heading back to the Fair Grounds by 9:30 AM. If you are having any sort of mechanical problems, I strongly suggest you check with Big Jim's.

PS: They also offer discounts to Veterans & Seniors. Real nice people to do business with.

Our fellow Heartlander Ed Potts found a station here in Pueblo this morning that was selling diesel at $2.879 per gallon and he has the printed receipt to prove it. If you are interested, the address is: Alta Convenience Store, 2102 Norwood Ave. here in Pueblo. This purchase was made at 10:56 this morning don't know how long this price will last.
