Wow...good news, I was worried about you! Leave the fake news behind for this one, as you will have your
hands full trying to drive through the RV Rodeo, coupled with the Murder Mystery and Think you can dance!
Which everyone knows you can't!

Garry,

If all goes well and Tony W. (aka the Judge) doesn't testify against me, I will hopefully have my license reinstated before the rally and would like to participate in the RV Rodeo.
How would I go about registering for this.

Wow...I don't know about this! I think you need to bring a copy of your written license exam, certified letter from the DMV approving your driving test and then
maybe,,,maybe then we could consider testing your skills on the obstical course! But you really are asking for a lot!!!!!!!

When you check in at the welcome table upon entering the Carnival lot, you will be given the option of being escorted by the Rat Parking Patrol to drive the course or head
directly to your site. Just remember, this will all be captured on digital video and still shots! Bring lot's of dollar bills if you want to buy off the camera guys!

You will have fun.....
Safe travels....see you in a month.

UPDATE:
Have I mentioned the "hanging Judge" is not in a good mood?
Be sure not to drive over any cone, children, dogs or cross the white lines!!!!!
Have ample copies of your insurance card as well.....

Heartland Regional Rally Rebate:

We have a new HOC benefit that was just announced by JimB.
Attached to post one is a certificate and instructions for a Rebate on the purchase of any New, never titled Heartland RV.

The rebate is valid for 30 days from the start date of each Regional Rally for 2018.
2018 will be the Trial Period.
Rebate is:
$1,000 on Landmark, Bighorn, Big Country, Cyclone & Road Warrior
$750 on all other 5[SUP]th[/SUP] Wheels
$500 on all Travel Trailers

Hope this will benefit someone who may be looking for a new RV and not yet pulled the trigger! This rebate will be over and above any deal you make with your Dealer and the Dealer will not be involved with this program.

This is an exciting perk that use to be just for the National Rally’s.

Question about the golf outing. I didn't bring my clubs. Does anyone know if I can rent clubs at the course? Or if I could get their number I can call them, thanks!

Hi Jim: Talked to the Head Pro today at Walking Stick (719) 553-1181 and they do have a set of lefty clubs for rent. Once I get things finalized, within a few days, I would call them so they can reserve them for you. Looks like we may be golfing on Thursday, June 7th, instead of the 8th. Just FYI.

GOLF UPDATE

There may be a change on the date of our golf outing. I am currently looking at Thursday, June 7 instead of Friday, June 8.

I apologize for any inconvienence, but it turns out Friday is difficult to get multiple tee times due to previously scheduled tournaments and the popularity of some courses.

I should have an UPDATE posted within the next several days with the final information on our golf event. The bright side is that the cost will be considerably cheaper on Thursday.

Thank you for your interest and I will post all of the info as soon as I have it. Any questions or concerns, please contact me at jdfishing@comcast.net.

Rally Update:

While returning from the NM Rally, the girls and I had a lot of time to discuss the Regional Rally. The Rally thread has mentioned several surprises during the week. Like me they don’t like surprises but love giving them. With that said, they have totally convinced me in advance of our opening night to share one part of the “surprise puzzle” for the Rally week.
The Rally week will have two main themes: 1: Murder Mystery Night, 2: 60’s Party,
While not able to share any surprises for the Murder Mystery, we decided to share a little
Tickler for the 60’s night.
There will be an “oldies but goodies” song contest leading up to the final night. Here is how it will work!

  1. Since Uncle Garry (the banker) feels very benevolent which will be a total surprise to JimB, he will select two contestants from the audience on opening night. He will bankroll you will some cash in five-dollar denominations. “Amounts to remain part of the secret”
  2. The contestants will sit on stage and JohnD will be playing a small part of selected songs. Each contestant one at a time will be asked the name and artist for that song. If one gets it correct and the other wrong….you pay the correct contestant $5 from your bankroll.
  3. This will go on until one has all the money and will advance to round two on Wed evening. However, remember I am now feeling benevolent so the one watching their bankroll slip away may at his/her discretion elect to quit the game once the initial bankroll shrinks to below 50%. They will keep their remaining balance and admit they don’t know much about the 60’s music era!
  4. Now in the case of a tie, where both get the song & artist correctly, each will be asked #1-the name on the record “album” label and #2-year! That will most likely eliminate the tie, but if not, no money is exchanged, and we go onto the next song.
  5. There will be a limit on the number of songs presented so this doesn’t go on for a length of time and the one with the most money will advance.
  6. This will be duplicated on Wed for round two with a new bankroll. The winner will go onto the "Final" Big Money Round!
  7. Saturday evening will be the final and the winner has the ability to win over $200

That is all the advance information the girls wanted me to share!
Brush up on your 60’s history…We have a number of other surprises to share at the Rally!

Safe Travels
Oh, by the way I know of a couple members who continue to live in this music era...so if you feel competitive and want to pm me your name
for consideration, feel free to do so! No guarantee your name will be selected but I will make every reasonable effort to match contestants to make
this an exciting event. The flip side is the girls may override me and select attendees they think will bring some bark to the table!

Hum....Nice try for those PM's wanting to ask JohnD for the list of
songs he will play.....We have not decided on the official list as of
this date! However, that said it won't be long as he visits the ranch
next week to finalize our playlist and a few other things.
His thumb drive of songs will be under very tight security!!!!!
