I drove by the Hershey Giant Center today and the rigs are coming in!! The lot is about 3/4 full. They have to start early because they are all shoe-horned in. They do a great job of getting everyone in...so...we're getting ready for the show!!!!

Hello everyone!!! Here is the dinner spot for Tuesday evening at 6pm. Duke's in Hershey...on 422East...just outside of Hershey going east. I will call and see if they will give us a reservation...just so they can put tables together for all of us....

Their menu is huge...has everything you could possibly want...but their crab pretzels are a meal in themselves!!!

Went past the Giant Center again today...the Big Horns are there and all in place...visible from Hersheypark Drive...right by the white fence along the road...!!! It was great to see them!!! There were at least 3 of them there..

For those of you staying at Conewago...Ken and Kathy, Dave and Julie, and Eric and Dorothy.... we will be down at your campground at 5:30p on Tuesday to escort you to Duke's. So just wait for us!! Safe travels coming in!

We have arrived at Conewago campground. I really hate setting up in the rain but the job is done now and Julie is starting to cook dinner (I hope it is something really hot). I guess I have lived in the south to long it seems cold here to me. Looking forward to the show.

By the way, we went and set up at the show...it really looks like it's grown again this year, considering how much it shrunk over the last two years...it looks very much like it did in the past. Even the vendors in the Giant center has increased considerably! I figured it would after how well all the dealers and vendors did last year...keep your fingers crossed it continues this year!

Happy to hear that Ken and Kathy that the crowds seem to be back...we took a drive by tonight and just love seeing those Big Horns there by HP Drive~ the weather will be better for the next 3 days and then there will be a chance of rain Thurs-Sat. But you never know around here...

Dave it wasn't raining that hard but things are wet... if you're looking for a cute little diner homemade eats...travel down 743 West (towards Hershey, make a left out of Conewago) and there is a little restaurant "RandyLee's" home of world famous BBQ...on the left hand side.... just past the elementary school (Conewago Elem school) on the left side, about a mile and a half or so away... Great pies too!!!

Ya'll have to find this place and eat here. It is awesome,huge, tons of food. We ate there one year while visiting the Hershey area. We stayed at the Thousand Trails nearby.

BTW, I am sooooo envious of you all getting together for the show. Have fun!

Mark, Shady Maple was part of our PA rally in June... it was wonderful (although us locals go there a lot)...everyone enjoyed it...we went for the b-fast buffet... and ate, and ate, and ate some more! Thanks for posting!!!

I will be happy to reserve sites at Highmeadow for anyone interested in staying on Hershey property and just catch the shuttle over. I saw Conewago CG too and that looks like a nice roomy place too... so we have a couple of options if you want to come next year and camp...

We had 21 for dinner tonight at Duke's and what a great time we had!!! Thanks everyone for coming out. What started as an idea to capture folks already at camp tonight...turned into folks traveling up from home to join us... thank you!!! And we had great food and lots of laughs....
