Frameless windows

I never once said Cyclone was low end. I said they're still using the same windows low end units use. I stand by that.

Boondocking is great if that's your thing, but I'm guessing these are alot like SUVs. The vast majority never use them that way. I still think AJ's choice is wrong and hurting sales. Under the ppremise of these are designed for boondockers, why have three AC units? Lol.

We don’t boondock much, but I still
prefer having framed windows even while in a campground. I like being able to open the windows on nice days to get some fresh air. It gets pretty toasty inside once it reaches 80+ outside assuming no shade, and I would imagine it would be worse with the frameless windows.

I don't want to argue, but I think you may be missing the point about running the AC vs keeping the inside cool by opening the window. There are some people, such as myself, that enjoy having the windows open and the noisy AC's off. Nothing wrong with either option, but some people are going to prefer one vs the other, and that's just fine. If you enjoy having the windows open though, it doesn't seem like frameless is the best fit. Perhaps one day, the MFG's will come up with a frameless window that props open all the way leading to a nice compromise for both looks and functionality.

We don’t boondock. In over 4.5 years, we’ve done it one day.

Having lived with the frameless that long, I wish to goodness we had large framed windows. This rig turns into an oven anytime it gets over 75 outside. Our next rig will have framed windows if at all possible.

I don't disagree with them venting better or that they might be better for boondocking. We all agree on that, and we're not argueing that. My point was, and still is, I'm guessing the vast majority of buyers, like Jeeps that dont go offroad, don't boondock with their $110k Corian countertop / 60" glatscreen / 3 AC toyhauler. So that's why the rest of the market moved towards frameless. Regardless, I hope you're right and they design a better window ultimately because the cheap aluminum framed ones are horrible in both look and construction.
