Front auto level control pad not working

I have a 2022 Landmark Chesapeake. It has a control pad out front for the auto level and a main control pad inside the right side storage compartment. I can't get the outside panel to work. It works fine from the main panel. Am I missing something?

You have to press the up/down arrows at the same time to turn "on".
