Gas piston door opener.

Grand kids broke the door opener gas piston, on the front door. Apparently pushed so hard it broke the capture device inside the coach. (Bent the mounting bracket toi)Any idea where to get a replacement? Is it unique to the door, or can I get a replacement at the auto supply? Looks like a 20" opener

Google "20 inch gas strut" and you will find many options. Walmart and Amazon both have them. Will need to know the lift rating as well. Look for identification numbers on the body of the strut and drop them in a Google search and see what information you come up with.

I looked at Camping Worlds selection in order to upgrade mine. They have a huge selection; different lengths in 20, 40, 60, 80 & 100 lbs. Also fit your existing hardware.

Mine came with 20lb gas springs
