I use lots of water and nothing else. Never had tank odor. I can go 14 days before needing to dump the black tank using normal flushing. I double up the flushes so that the tank is full in about a week. I can't bring myself to agonize so much, over a holding tank for my toilet..........

My DW is able to find the powder at our local Kroger.

Interesting, i have never had issues before this year but will look for calgon the next trip to town, can't hurt....
