Greystone G22BRH-TK LED Light Replacement

Having problems with the LED range hood light on my 2020 Mallard M301. The light has 6 leds. After about 5 minutes one bank of 3 leds starts 'flashing'. Went to the Lippert Customer Care Center and asked about a replacement light. They inform me that they do NOT have replacement lights for that range hood. Need to buy a replacement range hood for about $100. Has anyone had the same issue and replaced the LED light with another led light?

If that white lens comes off I'm sure you could find a suitable bank of LEDs on eBay. You might have to do a bit of soldering or some other minor modifications but it won't cost you a hundred bucks.

Thanks, Dave. Yes, the cover does come off and I am sure I could rig up something that would work even better than the original. Just thought I would check to see if anyone had already done this kind of swap. Just need to find a 12v LED light and cover. Thanks for your input.

Hi everyone. Just to give an update - I bought 4 replacement '48 led 12 v cob panels' from Temu for less than $3. That's .75 each. Two panels fit inside the light cover beautifully. Cut the old led strip out and replaced with the new led lights Works beautifully and the light is much brighter than the original led. The old LED light does unplug from the wire harness but you need to remove the fan to get to the plug. Very easy to do.
