Bill: I blew one of the factory tires in year two of my Bighorn going down a 6% grade on I-5 in Oregon. Had the spare put on and called ahead to the closest Les Schwab. They had four (I wanted five) "Geostars" with a G rating. Cost me about $770.00 mounted & balanced. No sales tax in Oregon! No trouble in four years. A friend of mine had a set of Les schwab tires (not Geostar) on his lighter SOB and noticed some minor cracks after two plus years. They replaced all four free of charge and said it looked like a defect. I had a set of Goodyear 10 ply on a SOB that were less than 2 years old. Blew one on another trip to Oregon and the other three were ready to go. Found out later Goodyear had a recall on the tires, but they wanted me to ship them the tires. Yea, right. I know who I trust to make things right.
