heaT in the cabinets around the frige

Linda and I are new to rving. We just got a heartland bighorn 3585rl 2012 with small fridge and spice rack. We are in Elkhart In. last week it was very hot. We noticed that the cabinets on both side of the fridge were warn. It was 83 degrees. What can we do to make them cooler it may ruin our coffee and spices?

About the only thing you can do is get to a cooler climate. The inside of the cabinets do not get any cool air from the AC. What they do get is heat transfer from the walls.
I guess you could leave the cabinet doors open all the time.

Our cabinets are warm, too, but the coffee doesn't seem to mind. It does complain when scalding water gets dripped on it, though. As for the spices, put them in a spice rack outside of the cabinet, if you have the space.
