Is TV and vacuum supposed to work on generator?

We have a 3812 with an Onan 5500 generator. But when running the generator the TV and the vacuum will not power up. We dis some trouble shooting behind the TV and there doesn't appear to be power going to the TV plug-in. We can run the TV off the plug-in on the island. This is a brand new unit so it is a bit annoying. Our dealer just installed solar panels for the batteries. Would he have disconected something and then not hooked them back up?

Michael,

There are 2 breakers in a box near the generator. One of yours is tripped. I had the same thing happen once. Wanted to use the vacuum on generator and would not work.

Where is this box? I looked near the generator but couldn't find any box.

the "box" is behind the cover for the generator. here are pics of the breakers

If those don't fix it, go to the main fuse/breaker box and check that all breakers are on. If unsure one is tripped the best way is to flip all of them off then flip them back on one by one. If that don't work make sure all your GFI receptacles have been reset in the trailer. If those haven't corrected your problem take it back to the dealer.
