TOUGH choice. Looked at least a dozen different 5ers including a Landmark Grand Canyon and a Big Country 3510 and (gasp) a Dutchmen Infinity 3400RL. And I seriously considered a wide range of used motorhomes, but momma wanted the trailer vs the motorhome, and if momma ain't happy, ain't NOBODY happy.

Went with the Bighorn ... like the Landmark but it was a full 500 lbs heavier and then one I found was 1300 miles away, so a 1300 mile drag up with the Sundance and 1300 miles back with the Grand Canyon.

Installing slide toppers on all slides today. I will upgrade to G rated tires in the near future but a used tire is a used tire and the E rated tires on it will last a few months. I will install a satellite system that will allow different channels in the living area and the bedroom. Plus all the usual do-dahs.

Looking forward to taking a short stay-cation next week for the break in. The pre-delivery inspection is tomorrow. Lots of good tips here for things to look for.
