Keyless Entry Doesn't Work

2011 Bighorn 3600RL. Keyless Entry problems. Thought it was Keypad battery - no change with new battery. Next, the Keypad - new Keypad, reset code - still no open/close.
Any suggestions. We really like having the Keyless.

Dick, one more thing I would do is check to see if you have 12 volts, actually 13+, across the two contacts on the door jamb.
If all else fails, contact Southco.

Try cleaning the contacts on the door and jamb and make sure that the keypad battery is making good contact in its holder. The keypad should light up if it is seeing power from the battery when the buttons are pushed, but it's hard to see the lights in daylight.

One more thing is, did you remove, and re-install the jumper on the reciever in the entry door when you installed the new keypad?

You must program the keypad from inside with the door closed. I tried to reprogram my for 2 hours and then after calling Sothco Mike Faye told me the door must be closed. The it took only a couple of minutes.
