Kitchen Table Wall Hook Mounts

Suggestions on how to beef up these table hook mounts? As you can assume, screws are stripped and the walls are thin. Has anyone used panel anchors that held up and didn't destroy the paneling?

I have used these with the handrail going up the interior steps. I believe that the larger anchor screw diameter gives a better "bite" into the thin wood paneling for more pounds of support.

You might also consider a piece of plywood spanning a couple of studs. Stained to match your woodwork it could be one more option that's stronger to screw in to than the flimsy Lauan type wall panel.
The table would be away from the wall a bit but it's better than the table mount falling off the wall .

If you decide to try the wall anchors, make sure you do not use ones to long and go out through your exterior wall
