Leaking water heater

While I was at the Arkansas rally this spring my water heater started leaking. After I got home I removed the wall thinking its was a fitting because I had just tightened one about a week before. To my surprise it was not a fitting and the leak was not visible but was dripping quit fast. With just two months left on the two year warranty I took it to a repair shop. They had to remove the Styrofoam and saw that a weld on top of the tank had a pin hole in it. Atwood did provide a new replacement. My ice maker also did not work this spring. The repair shop determined that it had just died. It had power and water but just would not run. Norcold replace the ice maker also under warranty. I am thankful that these items did not last another 3 months but I hope the replacements last longer. We'll see.

Don, you got away before we had a chance to look at the water leak and I'm glad you got it repaired.
