Well the time has come to head East. We are leaving Indio tomorrow and heading back to Wisconsin. Our Grandkids are saying all the snow is gone Papa! We'll be stopping in Vegas for a few shows and buffet visits then on to Illinois to visit our Son & his family then up to Wisconsin Rapids. We will miss the beautiful weather we've had here and the friends we've made.

Travel safe. When do you figure you will be at Wisconsin Rapids?

How is Suzi doing?

We will be up in the New England area. Hoping the floods have not ruined any campgrounds.

See ya later.

We have been watching the Travel Channel on Directv. They are showing the World's Richest RV Parks..

Guess where they are... Indio.. WoW.. How did you get to host that place.. They must have parked your trailer back behind the Dumpster... Talk about Bucks....

You need to get back to Wisconsin Rapids to keep you grounded..

See ya later..

We'll probably be heading up to our site around the 5th of May, weather permitting. So, if you're going to be in the neighborhood, give a holler.

Actually, that place is down the road about 8 miles south of where we were. We did get a tour of the place though. Our friends that manage the park we worked at were owners of a site in the place. Outdoor Resorts, Indio. The politics in the place were ridiculous so they sold it a few years ago.

We made it to Vegas and are in Sam's Town on Boulder Hwy. There are several Heartland's in the place so we'll have to go around and do some promoting. Pretty nice park but the sites are pretty close together and there isn't much room to park. Going to Hoover Dam tomorrow and a couple shows before we leave on Tuesday. Had all you could eat King Crab Legs tonight.:p

We watched the same program.
You know I can't afford a blade of grass in that place, but even if I could I dont think it's me.

I kind of like having to do things for myself. :)

Well the Hoover Dam trip was not too bad. They sure have turned it into a tourist trap since we were there last. $7.00 to park. It may have been cheaper or free on the other side but I wasn't aware of that till after we parked. It's $8.00 each just to get into the visitors center. $9.00 for the power plant tour and $30.00 for the big tour. We got there around 10 AM and the back-up was only a mile. When we left around noon, the back-up was all the way back to Boulder. About 4 miles.

We passed a Bighorn heading North on 93. He was a HOC member but I couldn't get his number. Might have been 1289? He also had a website on his rear window. I should have written it down. I thought it was www.jtreeliving.com but there is no such site. He pull off into Railroad Pass Casino I think. Time for more sightseeing. Later ya'll.

Well the trip east was delayed by I-80 being closed eastbound from Evanston, WY. We are spending one night here in Evanston. I can see trucks heading East right now but we saw literally thousands of trucks pulled over due to the closure. I can imagine how bad it will be when they all get the word the road is open. We'll be much better off leaving tomorrow. We drove North out of Provo, UT on 189, Provo Canyon Rd. What a fantastic and scenic road. I was a little nervous as we were approaching the mountains but once on the road, it was easy going. Not too steep anywhere and mild curves. Once we got onto I-80 we saw the signs of I80 closures and the trucks pulled over to wait it out. Back on the road tomorrow.

Currently in Cheyenne, WY. No problems along the way but we had a scare yesterday AM with electrical. I'll cover it as a question in Bighorn Electrical.
There are 2 other Bighorns here in A.B. RV Park along with a good number of early morning barking dogs. There are also quite a few folks that are resident workers leaving early in the AM. I really wanted to sleep in today too. Staying one more night here just to kick back and relax today.
