Made my own slide glide sticks

Took an office chair floor protector (Clear plastic chair mat with gripper teeth on the bottom) I cut two 6" wide x 36" for the slide to glide on when closing. Worked great!!! Put them in place and the didn't move an inch. Should save a bunch of carpet wear and marks.

Sounds like a great solution! What did you use to cut them? Can you post a pic?

I cut them very easily with a jig saw. You have to brace it on a bench so your cutting close to the edge of the bench other wise it just vibrated and doesn't cut.
Sorry, no pic yet they are in the TT and it's raining cats and dogs out. Here is what I used.758429656_125.jpg

Great idea. Ray posted up pictures of the underside of the bedroom where his is catching the bottom using metal plates screwed on though I was thinking of using a material more like this. I wonder how well it would hold up if it covered the underside of the bed slide out, those mats are about that size and thin enough to not catch the rubber seal...I think.
