Manual

Hi superpapa1012,

Congratulations on the new North Trail and welcome to the Heartland Owners Forum.

The trailer manual along with appliance manuals are usually in a blue pouch that's tucked away in a cabinet or in a drawer. If you've looked everywhere (flashlights are sometimes helpful), I'd suggest you call your dealer. They may have removed the pouch for safekeeping and forgotten to put it back.

You can also download a softcopy of the manual from the HeartlandRVs.com website. And in the manuals section of this forum, we have an extensive collection of manufacturer manuals, along with some owner-written user guides.

You should have received a whole packet of user manuals . . . a generic Heartland handbook that covers all the trailers in general terms and then specific manuals, instruction sheets, and warranty information for all the appliances installed in your rig (e.g., A/C, furnace, stove, microwave, etc.).
There is no manual that is specific to each model. If you did not receive such a packet, then you should first contact your dealer.

On edit, Oops, looks like Dan was typing a response at the same time I was. Sorry this is redundant.

Hiya R & J glad to see you finally got around to joining the forum.
Did you look everywhere for that packet of manuals.
Normally a blue bag with warranty cards etc.
Look in all the drawers, cabinets and under the bed.
We also have a bunch of information regarding manuals, user guides and troubleshooting guides in the "Tools" section found at the top of each page of the forum.
Most owner manuals are pretty generic so you will find the most useful information by asking here on the forum.
There are still some spots available for the Heartland Owners North American Rally coming up in about two weeks. [LINK]
Also check out the WI Chapter Rally coming up in August at the Dells. [LInk]

Peace
Dave

Hi Dave and Mary:

Yes, have searched everywhere. Got the blue packet with all appliance info. Called dealer and they put one aside for us. Have to make a trip to get it. Making first voyage today - Harrington Beach so close to home if problems.
