MCD Shades up or down for travling

Hi there.. we are getting ready to embark on our first towing of the 2015 Landmark 365 Newport.. we have the MCD shades.. some are inside a track, some not.. do you leave them up or down for traveling?

I usually leave them down, especially during warmer weather. Helps keep the interior a little cooler.

We always leave ours up during travel and down when stored.

I personally like to travel with them down, but want to say that MCD recommends travel w/ them up

We have traveled with both shades down but within the side bars so it minimizes their movements. We tried up but noticed the temp in the coach was much higher after a travel day.

Another thing we try to do as well is to keep the roof vents open while under way so heat can escape. MaxxAir covers on them.

Always up. If it was hot, after arriving at destination open door & a couple windows for a bit and turn on both A/C's... always worked fine for us.

Up, if I don’t, they end up up by the time I get where I need to be and not in a pretty fashion.

Up. The rear large window shade on our rig especially. The movement causes additional stress on the shades and they can come crashing down. Ask me how I know.
