Microwave question

We have a 3055RL purchased on Apr 4 2006. I realize the bumper to bumper warranty is over, however the warranty on our Sylvania microwave is 2 years. The microwave steams badly and sometimes shuts itself down. If I take it to a Heartland dealer, does Heartland stand behing the microwave warranty and replace it. I have seen others here on this forum that have had theirs replaced with a Dometic that does work. Sure wish ours did.

Our warranty is over also and unfortunately we have not used the micro that much yet. I am kind of wondering the same thing. Seems the Sylvania is a bust as far as microwaves go.

Since properly ducting my Sylvania microwave, it neither shuts down nor excessively steams up. In my opinion, the problem is not with the microwave but with the way Heartland installed it. See my postings in the Sundance appliance section for further details.

Canon, Just re-read your Sundance post. Where are those pictures? Guess I never knew a micro had to be ducted.
