If you look at Jim Biletti's response with pics on this thread, he does state that Heartland changed the ladder mount.

They should be willing to sell a set at a GOOD price to owners who want to change out the mounts.............Don

Heartland changed the ladder mount.

Changing the ladder mount to a better mount just means a flimsy ladder is attached better.
As mentioned previously, I have the better mounts and the ladder still leaves a lot to be desired. And the Cyclone mount overall is better.

I would be bummed too.... I added two sets of standoff supports to mine and now it's stiff to where I feel safe.
