New North Trail 28DBSS Owner-Manual Slide

Hello,

We just took delivery of our 2016 North Trail 28DBSS TT. Upgraded from a pop up. I'm trying to figure out how to manually move the slide if power is not available. Anyone know how to do that?

Thanks, Ralph

Hi more,

Congratulations on the new North Trail and welcome to the Heartland Owners Forum.

Hopefully another North Trail owner can point you to the slide motor and let you know what you'll need to manually operating it.

If I remember correctly, a tool came in the blue bag. In the event of power loss, the tool was to be used on the motor to manually retract the slide after removing a rubber plug. I do remember during our PDI that the tech suggested always having a cordless drill for such occasions. The tool I am referring to had two different tool ends, the other being for the awning.
