Nightmare trip thanks to goodyear marathons

It's probably a broken steel belt. Had that problem with our former 5er. Distributor ended up replacing all 5 tires.

if it is on the rear axle it might possibly be something you picked up.
I always had flats on the rear axle and always blammed it on debris on the road.

Okay boys and girls what should I do? I just happened to look down at
One of my tires and saw a piece of wire sticking out of one of the grooves. I am not
Sure if it is a part of a belt or a foregien body picked
Up.

Get that tire to the tire dealer of your choice ASAP to have it checked out.
