I still have to decide what time Jim and I will arrive if I can't leave work early we may not be there until 7:00 or 8:00 pm because we are about 4 hours away. Outback or Golden Corral works for us I spoke with my rep at the hotel and he recommended the following restaurants: there are of course the restaurants in the casino's - most have buffet style, tropicana has an italian and also chinese. Not far from the hotel is another italian restaurant JoJo which he states is very good if anyone is interested in Italian. Besides outback and Golden Corral there is Carrabera, Ruth Crisps which is a steak house, Applebees and much more. I will do some research of other restaurants in the area but I agree with Debbie the sooner we know what we want to do for the weekend as far as dinners the better so we can contact the restaurants prior to the 17th to ensure they can handle a large group on a busy weekend with that said, I feel a decision needs to be made by 1/25 on any that we are interested in, for Friday and Saturday so arraingments can be made. If anyone wants to do their own thing for dinners that good too just let us know. Just a reminder the hotel will provide free Hot Breakfast every morning and shuttle service to Tropicana Casino schedule available on check in and it is also close to the convention center if anyone is going to the show. I also confirmed that the Hicks and Schaaf are booked with the group rate for there rooms. Who's got it better than us, good food, casinos, RV show and spending time with good friends - PRICELESS!
