Parker Arizona

We are planning on staying in Parker AZ for four or five days, and read through RV Park reviews on Fox's Pier PointResort and Castle Roick Shores, but there are very few reviews, I was hoping someone has stayed before in either of these parks and would be able to give us an insight into either park, and comments on other resorts in the area would be greatly appreciated, we have a fifth wheel 35 ', enjoy swimming but do not haul a boat. Thanks all.

Parker is on the Colorado river separating CA and AZ. Very hot this time of year. Not much to do if you don't have a boat.

I could be wrong but I am assuming that you are planning on being there in the Winter. I don't think you want to be there before mid October. I did find that Fox's has a Facebook page with some reviews. Castle Rock Shores has a Web page with a photo. It looks pretty nice and has the winter rates listed.
Golf is probably the main attraction for snowbirds and while it is a drive up the river Laughlin is across the river with boat taxis from Bullhead City to the casinos and resorts.

Been going to that area most of my life. Try and stay away on the weekends, that time of the year the "summer people" will still be there and they're a wild bunch, but if you want entertainment, ah never mind. Boating and golfing that's about it. Castle Rock would be my choice if you can get on the water upriver side of the park. You might call them and see what's left. Lake Havasu city is just 45 minutes away and much more to do but has the city to make it that way. It'll be hot but that's what the AC is for.

Plan on temps in the 100s during the day. Nights start to cool down mid September but if the monsoon lingers nights could still be in the 80s or higher.

I've been living in SoCal and going to the desert for over 50 years.
"Summer people" are the one's that keep the business' doors open the rest of the year, when it's "too hot" for the snowbirds. :) Trace
