Pex and Camco tubing

While repairing a burned wire on the back of my water heater, I noticed a small leak on one of the tee fittings connecting pex to the Camco flexible tubing. I noticed the Camco was crushed excessively and when moved slightly, it would leak. Bottom line, the inside diameter of the pex is 3/8" and the Camco is 1/2". Pex fittings should never be used on Camco tubing! I can't believe the factory allows this to happen.
I spent 5 hours changing to the proper fittings and now I have leak free plumbing. Apparently, quality control is non-existent on the assembly line.

Also, I took the cheap Chinese time bomb tires off after two tires failed structurally on first trip. Replaced them with 17 1/2" rims and J rated tires.
