Has anyone used a portable air conditioner in the garage of the toyhauler? We want to get one and wondered if we can plug it into the 30 amp plug since we use 50 amp for the rv. We want to use both at the same time. Please let me know ypu opinion. Thank you

Yes we use a portable AC unit by Delonghi and it works great. What we do is run a good extension cord out of the garage and plug into the 20 amp breaker that is in the pedestal box. That way we do not consume amps through the RV. Then you will need to run the drain tube (if required) out of the garage as well. There is enough gap between the door on the bottom corner where the seal doe not go all the way across. The hardest part is to run the exhaust vent to outside. We went through a window.
