Possible Purchase of Landmark, How Livable is it in Winter?

HI there, we have just put an offer on a 2011 Heartland Landmark Grand Canyon. Wondering if any fellow Canadians have spent the lovely winter months living in their Landmark? We are in Alberta for now, but looking to move out to Vancouver Island with it. TIA
