Busy day of Mods
First I mounted and additional grab handle to the screen door, now we have a low one for going in and a high one for coming out. Works great.

Next Mod
I installed the brackets I found from etrailer.com had trouble finding the aluminum cross members to screw in to. After poking around up there I found a few spots to mount them.

Next Mod
I installed the Progressive EMS-HW50C Surge protector and the extra remote kit w/switch select
I found a good spot right behind the basement wall right before the first transfer switch

I mounted the main monitor and selector switch in the docking station so I can check it once I plug in

Then I mounted the 2nd monitor in the main switch cabinet inside

1 more thing off of my tado list and 2 more boxes off my work bench.

Jerrod: Great work - wish I had 100th of your and JB's mechanical (and Heartland technical) knowledge. Finding that such is a great help with one of these things as we begin using them more.

Or just more jealous cuz I'll never have the talent to do those kinds of things (when it comes to projects, I have 10 thumbs and no fingers) nor the smarts to even think up those things! I do like your broom holder mod and may even try to attempt that one.

I don't have anything on mine anymore, after the one adhesive cup cam off I figured I can trust it anymore. So I took it off all together. We never liked the look of that thing on there anyway.
Now we just us this buckle strap on the handles

Passing on this black tank flushing trick
For when the dump stations doesn't have a threaded hose or hose bib to hook up your flush hose to.
I put a anti siphon fitting on the end of my outside shower hose (just to be safe) and use it to pump my tank water in to flush the black tank.

Ya it work out well. I wanted to dump out a bunch of fresh water before we headed home. There was signs in the camp ground that said absolutely no dumping of water on the ground. So I was able to kill 2 birds with 1 stone as the say. !!!

Nice upgrade Mod
My Lippert quad steps came today.
I wanted to see what the difference was in weight and to my surprise it was only .3 pounds
Steel steps

Aluminum steps

After getting into the project I found more horribly poor craftsmanship under there. Unreal they bent one of the side support brackets back to meet the bolt hole "I guess" instead of putting the hole in the right place. With that bracket bent back like that it has lost most of it's strength to properly support the outer wall

Then also found a stack of flat washers on both sides of the step held in with a pices of duct tape.

Anyway back to the project
These steps are way way more stable and sterdy then the steel steps were. No more blocks of wood under the last step.

Another Mod
Small job big project.....
I needed a 12V USB by the bed to charge my phone at night when we're Boondocking. Last time I ran the big inverter all night just to change the phone and it pulled my batteries down to 47%.
I had to pull the bed all apart to find 12V source and make sure I wasn't drilling through anything I shouldn't.
I installed it on the closet side near the 110 plug. And wired it into the 12V wires going to the reading lights.

The next one I've been fighting with, for a fee weeks now.
I had already done the LED dimmer switch on my side of the bed. Then DW decided she wanted one on her side to, I had ordered my first LED dimmer switch from (RV parts country) and it worked perfectly. Then ordered the 2nd one from Amazon,.
I cut the hole out wired it in and nothing !!! I didn't work :/ emailed the seller, they sent me another one wired it in and still nothing.. WTH.... I left it a few days trying to figure it out, pulled the lights down to check all of the wiring out.
So I took the switch out of my side and wired it into her side to see if it would work. It did..... 2 switches from Amazon are both bad. I guess I'll order 1 more from RV parts country and see what happens.

In shopping switches at home, I've noticed that some dimmer switches are labeled for LEDs and others are not. The first switch you have is labeled for LEDs. Maybe I missed it on the others, but I don't see it on those.

The LED switch has 3 wires and the non LED has only 2
