YES very happy.
I have one sensor (right rear) that will drop signal occasionally, maybe once per trip. But not a big deal because it comes back on shortly after.

Well another eventful trip. As we are heading home from our 2 week trip to beautiful Palm springs. About 2 hours into out trip Lydell noticed his trailer was leaning oddly to the left. We stopped for lunch in Lancaster Ca and found both front leaf springs were broken. This is on a Sunday of course. Found a RV park with 2 spaces available and moved in for the night.
They have a 2015 landmark Key Largo with the 6 leaf 3500pound springs. So 8000lbs axles and 3500lbs springs.
Today (Monday) we headed to L.A. to get new 4000lbs springs and all new wet bolt & equalizer kit. Dove into the project and found 1 of the leaf spring hangers is snapped off also.
Now we are waiting for a mobile welder to come weld on a new one..
So the just of this story is those of you with the pre LM 365 should change out your 6 leaf 3500lbs springs with the 4000lbs 7 leaf as soon as possible...

Sooooo,

Do you think the hanger broke first, leading to the spring pack failure? Or did the spring pack fail first leading to the hanger getting twisted off?

Both front springs were broke.
And that hanger was on the right rear spring so I'm kinda thinking they had 2 separate issues.
It's possible that the extra stress put on the rear may have caused it to snap.

Had they ever backed over a speed bump or curb? That can snap hangers and break spring packs.

Also, if you feel the wrong sized springs were put on at the factory, consult them. There may need to be a recall.

How long has there been Lippert spring and hanger issues ????? Just a swag here, but 9-10 years that I know of.

So sorry to hear of your challenges, Lydell! Ever since we put disk breaks along with heavier wet bolts and shackles, I’ve had this nagging worry that most, if not all of our 5th wheel rigs are under-gunned for the suspension job at hand. And definitely makes me yearn for the security of a Spartan or Freightliner chassis underneath!

In deed. Pushing us closer and closer to that big diesel pusher every day.
45' 3 axle 450hp
Just might happen sooner then later.

My 07 Lippert chassis failed. Bent twisted cracked and broken leaf spring.
That was 6 years ago. Now here's where the passing of the buck starts.
And no I was not overloaded.

Your going to want more that 450hp, you’ve got that beat with your Ford.

The Cummins L9 has 450hp and 1250 ft pds of torque it should be plenty for now.

Might want to check the Entegra with the Cummins 600hp 1950 ft lbs torque that Rod mentioned first

More HP and torque a good thing if you are going to pull a toad and visit the Continental Divide and areas around there. Extra HP and torque never hurts going up those things. Come to think of it, extra HP and Torque not a bad thing for any of us pulling the campers that we pull .
