So I posted this issue back in 2019 about propane flow problems. The issue: Off-door side with dual propane regulator seems to work fine when propane is flowing from that tank. The door side is the problem. Off-door side ran out of propane last night and the automatic switchover to the door side did not work. Yes, both tanks are open. I replaced the dual propane regulator with same brand (Fairview) recently because I thought the dual propane regulator again was faulty. I had already replaced the red mini regulator on the door side a couple of months ago plus replaced the pigtail. I have the gas stop devices on both sides. Switched tanks one side to the other and that made no difference. Even when I have the switch turned strictly to the door side, no flame at the stove and obviously the furnace did not ignite. When the off-door side tank is open, everything works fine. So after replacing both the dual propane regulator, the red door-side regulator and the pigtails, the only thing I have not replaced is the propane line going from the dual propane regulator to the red regulator. Could that be the problem? Don't know what else could be the issue. What do you all think?
