Repair to water damaged bedroom slide floor

Our 2014 Landmark Grand Canyon had water damage, which was caused by 5" of missing silicone caulk between the outside slide wall and trim piece. Check out Bill's creative fix here:

In the comments section of your write up, you mentioned to someone that Heartland gave you the floor. How did that happen and how did you get it? You stated in the article that the floor is 1 1/16" thick. That piece you got must have been heavy.

Heartland sent us the floor in a crate that was clearly built around the floor, it was shipped by a freight company (aka L.T.L.). It was very heavy, the shipping weight was just under 300lbs.
