Rodent smell from furnace

We are on a trip with the Big Country 3650 RL. Turned on the heater and we have a smell of a burning mouse (?) from all vents. Over time it is getting better. The furnace is working good so the question is should i have the furnace inspected and dead mouse removed or should I just leave everything alone? We have already called and made an appointment to get it inspected but just wondering if everyone thought it was necessary.

The odor will eventually disappear when the carcass dries up....
