Rusty frame and spring mounts

Bought a 28rlss North Trail on 9/16/11 and found that frame, spring supports and especially lpg lines were extremely rusty as if the metal had been subjected to a salt water bath. Any similar experiences?

Unfortunately it seems to be the "nature of the beast." The frame on our Big Country was very rusty on delivery. Every spring I wire brush, prime, and repaint. This second season the rusty areas were less but still there! Some owners put spray undercoating on. Some treat it with chemicals, I opt to paint it.

I appears that trailers with rusty frame were shipped in the winter time with salt on the roads. I believe that the dealers are suppose to wash the frames and running gear when they recieve them. But maybe not.
