Screen door latch

Hello All,

I have a 2008 Northtrail 31 BHD. Have been trying to find a replacement left hand latch for my screen door. I went as far as taking a picture of it and sending it to Heartland parts department. They said that particular latch for the screen door is no longer made and the replacement one needs to be retro fitted! The latch has a notch on the back right side (when your facing the door from the outside) for clearance of the screen door window. Cant find a new latch anywhere.
Hope this makes sense...

Has anyone else had this problem?

Doesn't sound like much of a problem. When you own an RV you just gotta do what ya gotta do to make things work.
You might try to look at some at a home improvement store like Lowes or Home Depot for something that might work.
Or an RV dealer that may have some generic piece that will work.
Or like Heartland Parts recommended, do the retrofit.
