Hello All !... we are planning a trip to see relatives in Zanesville, Ohio in the fall.. of course hoping to see awesome leaves too... Being Newbies to hauling a trailer in those areas I need help. First... I think we are going to make 2 stops on the way up and back as I have found I really don't like driving more than 6-7 hours and when I did mapquest it was like 17 hours. I have this underlying fear of some day being on a road that has a low bridge or horrible narrow winding roads on the edge of a cliff for 50 miles... so can you more seasoned drivers please share some of your favorite routes and parks to stop at along the way that has nice roomy spaces? On the way back I actually would like to stop an extra day or two and enjoy the area... someplace... maybe VA... I am open for suggestions of new adventures... and of course George likes big parks so he can use his golf cart
