Sidewall Flushness

How flush should the outside walls of the slide outs be to the main body? My other rv was flush with the sides.....My 3250TS I can insert my fingers between the slides and the sides. I cannot see this keeping the water out while driving down the road in a rain storm.....

Are the rubber gaskets along the inside edges compressed? If they are that's as good as it gets....Don

Are you getting your fingers only under the flanges or actually in between the seals? I cannot get my fingers past the outer edge of the seals on any of the slides.
